Former Texas A&M president Michael Young made first cut of finalists, but not the second, for the president’s job at Florida State.
The Eagle was the first to report Young was among nine who were interviewed over the weekend by Florida State’s search committee.
According to FSU’s website, Young was not one of the three recommended by the search committee to their board of trustees.
Young, who retired December 31st, joined A&M’s law school and Bush school.
