An expected starter on last year’s Texas A&M men’s basketball team who was dismissed before the season started has been arrested.

23 year old Julius Marble of Cedar Hill (TX) is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in his apartment last October 14th, which was about three weeks before the Aggies first game.

The arrest report from College Station police says the victim told Marble “no” to several unwelcomed advances. She also attempted to push Marble away.

After the assault, the victim called a friend who took her to a local hospital.

The arrest report also says Marble sent a direct message on Instagram the following morning, telling the victim that he did not recall what had happened but he hoped that he did not do anything to upset her.

Marble was booked in the Brazos County jail April 18th and was released later in the day after posting a $50,000 dollar bond.
