The former Macy’s store that is owned by the city of College Station is occupied this week by the fire department.
Photos on CSFD’s Facebook page shows the training that began on Monday (November 17) and will continue through Thursday morning (November 20).
The building is being used to replicate a small jet airliner crash into the Easterwood Airport terminal building.
CSFD paramedics are training on triage, treatment, and transporting 38 patients with varying degrees of injuries.
