Former Aggie VP Named NDSU President

FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ A former vice president at Texas A&M is the new president at North Dakota State University.

The state Board of Higher Education voted unanimously Monday to hire Dean Bresciani. He will replace Joseph Chapman, who resigned late last year after criticism of spending at NDSU.

Bresciani was one of three finalists who interviewed with the board. The others were John Gardner, a vice president at Washington State, and Gary Miller, provost and vice president at Wichita State.
