Former Texas A&M star basketball player and LA Laker Alex Caruso was arrested by Texas A&M police Tuesday for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Caruso reportedly tried to board a plane at Easterwood Airport Tuesday afternoon when TSA agents found a grinder and less than 2 ounces of weed in his bag, both misdemeanors.

The 27-year-old was released after posting bond.

Caruso is a native of College Station, TX and played for A&M Consolidated High School. He was a four-year starter for the Aggies from 2012-2016.
