College Station High School was evacuated for about 20 minutes Wednesday afternoon due to a fire alarm.
CSISD spokesman Chuck Glenewinkel says it turned out to be nothing more than an unscheduled fire drill.
The alarm rang after detecting smoke, which came from a fog machine.
The fog machine was inside a audio/visual classroom where students were making a video.
The College Station fire department reported sending one unit to the campus, where the cause was confirmed, the rest of the building was checked, and the alarm system was reset.
