The National Weather Service office in Fort Worth issued a flood warning along the Navasota River affecting Robertson and Leon counties starting Tuesday evening and continuing until further notice.
Near Easterly, the river has a flood stage of 19 feet. It is expected to rise above flood stage by Tuesday night and continue to rise to a crest near 20 feet by Wednesday evening.
At 19 feet, minor lowland flooding will occur from below Easterly to below Highway 21. Cattle in the flood plain could be affected.
This is in addition to freeze warnings for Monday night in Robertson and Leon counties.
