A four vehicle crash Friday night near Jones Crossing in College Station led to an arrest on an enhanced DWI charge.

According to College Station police arrest reports, victims told officers the driver that started the chain reaction collisions on Wellborn Road near Balcones sat in his car laughing before he got out and left the scene.

After the driver was found in a field with the assistance of one of the victims, breath alcohol samples measured almost three times the legal limit at .236 and .220.

No injuries were reported.

32 year old Osvaldo Hernandez of College Station is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $6,000 dollars for DWI with an alcohol level over .15 and causing the collisions.
