“Education Prospect” Interested In CS Land

There’s no streets and no utilities. It’s only a field purchased by the College Station City Council over nine years ago.

For the first time in a couple of years, someone is interested in developing what is known as Spring Creek business park. City Manager Glenn Brown says a “very preliminary discussion” is part of a city council workshop Thursday afternoon.

Brown says of the 500 acres purchased, 300 can be developed and the remaining 200 are in the flood plain.

Thursday afternoon’s discussion, in executive session, involves someone described as only an “education prospect” interested in an unknown amount of the property.
