An off-duty College Station policeman shopping at the local Kohl’s store Monday night spots a man wanted for a residential burglary that took place three months ago.

That led to on-duty officers from College Station and Bryan showing up, along with a member of the Bryan canine squad.

College Station Lt. Chuck Fleeger says additional charges were made against a Bryan man following an inspection of his pickup parked outside the store revealed butane bottles, mothballs, and other items used to make methamphetamine.

Fleeger says 32 year old Peter Sterk had been arrested earlier this month by another department for possessing materials to make a chlorine bomb.

And the new charges also includes possessing meth, illegal possession of prescription drugs, and shoplifting $154 of clothing and cologne from Kohl’s.
