Medical personnel and police documented severe bruising and swelling to the victim’s face, stomach, and chest. The victim reported that she was 11 weeks pregnant and had lost consciousness during the assault. Police spoke with the victim, who stated that she and the defendant got into an argument. The defendant then locked her in the RV and stated “Welcome to Hell House,” threatening to make sure she didn’t have the baby. According to the victim’s statement, the defendant grabbed her by the hair and repeatedly punched her in the face and stomach. Three Houston Men Arrested for Recent Home Burglaries
Three men from Houston have been arrested in a string of home burglaries. Bryan Police Officer Seth Waller says over the last several weeks, Bryan Police, College Station Police and the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office have received multiple reports of home burglaries during the daytime hours. Waller says one suspect would knock on the front door and if no one answered, two others were force entry in the rear. “What makes this scary and potentially violent, is on multiple of these home burglaries, there were people inside the residence when it occurred,” says Waller. Through the joint investigation involving surveillance footage, witness statements, and intelligence gathering, a suspect vehicle was identified. “On June 18th, we received intelligence the suspect vehicle we identified had made it into Bryan,” says Waller. Waller says after monitoring the vehicle in the Oakmont neighborhood and following it to College Station’s Raintree neighborhood, a high-risk traffic stop was conducted where three suspects were arrested without incident. All three were charged with Attempted Burglary of Habitation and Possession of Criminal Instruments.
