Downtown Bryan Trees Have New Nets To Keep Away Birds And Bird Droppings

There’s a new feature for visitors in downtown Bryan…a feature that will be hard to see.

Deputy city manager Joey Dunn says along Main Street, there are nets in the trees that are designed to keep out birds…and their droppings.

The nets were added to crepe myrtle trees in the block where the LaSalle Hotel is located after getting positive results on trees around Bryan’s city hall.
