Domestic Violence Arrest Inside Texas A&M’s Hotel And Conference Center

Texas A&M police (UPD) responds to the university’s hotel and conference center Thursday (January 22) at one in the morning.

That’s after hotel staff found a woman sitting on the floor near the elevators on the seventh floor and the woman saying she was not O-K.

A review of hotel video shows the woman being pushed by her husband, then the husband pulled her hair and took her phone, then the husband pulled her hair a second time as she tried to push away from him.

When a UPD officer contacted the victim, the husband told her to stop talking and he told the officer to contact his lawyer.

The officer grabbed the husband and arrested the 26 year old from Spring on a charge of family violence assault causing bodily injury.

WTAW News is not identifying the man to protect the identity of the woman, who did not want to speak to the officer.

The husband remains jailed as of January 23rd in lieu of an $11,000 dollar bond.
