So far, so good delivering electricity to customers in College Station. Director of Electric Utilities David Massey says Monday’s peak was about 10% under the all-time consumption for College Station, which was set last summer.
Current usage (pun intended) is up 5-10% from July.
Statewide, only one provider has told its customers in the panhandle and in New Mexico to limit electric usage to reduce the chance of brownouts.
