While the College Station City Council finished Thursday evening’s meeting in less than 40 minutes, one hour was taken during the afternoon workshop on one item.
City Manager David Neeley’s intent was only to provide an update on contract negotiations with a possible author to write about the city’s upcoming 75th anniversary.
While the council recently approved spending $10,000 dollars, Julie Schultz asked Thursday why no other options were explored.
