Friday the 13th was a good day in the College Station school district. Director of Construction Services John Hall says they took occupancy of College Station High School.
Hall says the process went remarkably smooth, allowing employees to start setting up classrooms and offices six weeks before the start of the new school year.
Hall also says major remodeling at Consolidated High School is progressing well enough that the completion date is expected to be moved up three or four days.
Inside Consol some classrooms were converted to new uses, while the major exterior change is a new canopy and signage at the circular drive in front of the building.
John Hall visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
