Complaint Against Houston PD

HOUSTON (AP) _ A woman no longer accused in a Houston prostitution investigation has filed a complaint saying twoofficers took cell phone photos of her when she was nude.

Charges against the 28-year-old woman from Katy, who was arrested in March, were dismissed Wednesday.

The woman says she has filed a formal complaint with police over the photos. Her attorney, Windi Akins Pastorini, says the officers “are doing this to humiliate women.”

Pastorini says the exchange was caught on audiotape by police. HPD spokeswoman Jodi Silva declined to discuss the investigation. Silva says the two undercover vice officers remain on duty.

Harris County District Attorney’s spokeswoman Donna Hawkins says the office is looking into reasons for the dismissal.
