College Station Woman Accused Of Hitting A Ten Year Old In The Face With A Closed Fist

College Station police responding to a fight Sunday afternoon inside an apartment led to the arrest of a visitor on a charge of hitting a 10 year old girl who lives in the apartment with a closed fist.

21 year old Makela Holmes denied striking the girl. Then she told the officer if the girl got hurt…quoting the arrest report…”it was because she put herself in with the adults.”

An independent third party witnessed the girl being struck, causing the girl to fall down and injure her foot.

Holmes remained in jail Tuesday morning in lieu of a $75,000 dollar bond on the charge of injury to a child.
