College Station School Board Affirms Last Month’s Grandfathering Vote

‪The College Station school board at a special meeting Friday, affirmed an April 19th vote on who will be grandfathered when new high school boundaries start in the fall of 2019.

The 5-2 vote grandfathers this year’s ninth & tenth graders.

Michael Schaefer, who called for the special meeting, and Mike Nugent repeated their support for adding eighth graders to grandfathering.

Carol Barrett made the motion, Geralyn Nolan seconded the motion, and they were joined by Jeff Harris, Michael Wesson, and Quinn Williams to not change last month’s vote.
