College Station police arrest a Bryan man for making a false report.
The CSPD arrest report says 32 year old Jason Calhoun admitted to a fake call on April 25th and a second false report of a disturbance. Officers responded both times to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment
The ex-girlfriend told officers that Calhoun had called police about five times to report a disturbance that did not happen.
Calhoun, who was arrested May 22nd, was released from jail the same day after posting a $5,000 dollar bond.
The arrest followed entering two guilty pleas in November 2023 to misdemeanor charges of family violence assault causing bodily injury. Calhoun was sentenced to a total of 200 days for the assaults that took place in June and August of 2023. Online jail records showed he served 99 days.
