College Station Police Arrests One For Burglary, One For Gunfire, And One for Taking Items Left Behind By A Shopper

A College Station woman went to jail Monday (1/6) in the burglary of a College Station apartment in September 2024 where the occupant was struck multiple times with a two by four piece of wood. The College Station police arrest report says 32 year old Sarah Starks denies using the two by four, but admits she and the victim engaged in a physical fight outside the apartment. The arrest report says the victim received hospital treatment for a broken arm and several large bruises. Starks was released from jail after posting a $15,000 dollar bond.

An arrest was made Sunday (1/5) in a gunfire incident in College Station that took place in August of 2022. The College Station police arrest report says 35 year old Cantrell Kinney of Calvert is accused of firing an automatic rifle inside his apartment. A detective found one shot went through a wall that’s shared with a neighboring apartment. A second shot was fired into the apartment floor. Kinney was arrested for committing deadly conduct by firing the rifle. Kinney remained in jail as of January 10th in lieu of a $25,000 dollar bond.

Last November, a customer at the College Station Walmart left her wallet and the key fob to her vehicle at the self checkout. Moments later, she returned to the check out station and the wallet and key fob were gone. Another customer was arrested on Wednesday (1/8) on a misdemeanor theft charge. The College Station police arrest report says store video showed a man behind the victim taking the wallet and key fob. 27 year old Edson Henson of Navasota was identified by the credit card he used to make his purchase. He is out of jail after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.
