College Station Police Arrests For Leaving A Gun Near Sleeping Children, DWI With Children Not In Safety Seats, And Filing A False Report

A Bryan man with multiple nicknames who has been on parole for two months for burglary of a habitation is arrested by College Station police for hiding a gun under a blanket in a bunk bed where two children were sleeping. CSPD arrest reports say officers responded to a woman who texted 9-1-1 reporting she was trying to get out of her apartment because 30 year old Billy Earl Anderson III had a gun and was being aggressive. Anderson was arrested for possessing a gun as a convicted felon and child endangerment. Anderson’s nicknames listed in online jail records are Bleeder, Lil Ransom the Block, Hunter, The Ghost, Keeper, and Tear Drop The Zoo. As of April 3rd, Anderson remains in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $65,000 dollars.

Seven College Station police officers respond to an emergency call that turned out to be a false report. That led to the arrest of a 22 year old Bryan man. CSPD arrest reports says Samuel Xavier Reyes is accused of calling 9-1-1 reporting he had been hit with a bat when all that happened was a verbal altercation with a woman who left the scene. The woman who drove away was later arrested for DWI with three children under the age of eight in the back seat who were not in child seats. The driver had breath alcohol samples of .10 and .091. The arrest report does not say who took custody of the children when 22 year old Sabrina Chavez of College Station was taken to jail. Chavez is out of jail after posting a $10,000 dollar bond. Reyes is out of jail after posting a $5,000 dollar bond.
