An apartment maintenance employee who finds a bag of marijuana in air conditioning vent leads to the arrest of two roommates on multiple drug charges. According to the College Station police arrest report, 19 year old Ryan Christopher Byrd of College Station admitted to possessing nearly two pounds of marijuana, a container with individually wrapped marijuana brownies, and several small containers of THC wax. And 20 year old Albert Mejia admitted according to his arrest report to having a mason jar of marijuana, one marijuana brownie, a small jar containing THC wax, seven Adderall pills, and two Lannette pills. Both men are out of jail after posting bond. Byrd’s bonds totaled $60,000 dollars and Mejia’s bonds totaled $42,000 dollars.
A College Station man is accused of going into the College Station Target store five times in the last two months and stealing robot vacuums. According to the CSPD arrest report, there is surveillance video showing 29 year old Sheldon Renchie in the store and in his vehicle. Renchie, who was arrested February 20 on a charge of theft with two prior convictions, was released February 22 after posting a $25,000 thousand dollar bond. According to online records, Renchie is awaiting trials in Brazos County courts on charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
