College Station Police Arrests

A Bryan man with 23 prior convictions in Brazos County district court…11 for felony theft with prior convictions…is back in jail. A College Station police officer in J.C. Penney’s investigating an unrelated theft last Thursday learned store employees were tracking another suspect. According to the arrest report, 33 year old Michael Lacharles Cole left the store with clothing and a bundle of plastic shopping bags, ran out to his car, and drove away. A second officer stopped Cole’s car near Allen Honda, made the arrest, and recovered the shopping bags, four pairs of shorts, and six t-shirts.

There’s been an arrest from two residential burglaries last August in College Station. According to the arrest report, College Station investigators were assisted by video surveillance from a neighbor’s security camera and information Navasota police received from a confidential informant to identify three suspects. The one who was arrested, 21 year old Zachary Sinkule of Plano, is accused of taking a rifle and a shotgun from a home on Simi Drive…near College Station High School…and three laptops, three game consoles, and other electronics from an apartment on Holleman near Holik.
