Five College Station police officers were involved in the arrest of an east Texas man Monday afternoon on eight charges in the parking lot of Post Oak Mall.

According to the CSPD arrest report, 9-1-1 received a call from someone seeing a car almost hitting a few vehicles.

The reporting party also said the driver stopped, got out, kissed the ground, and began to rub his cell phone on the ground.

One of the officers wrote the driver’s pants and feet and the car were covered in mud.

52 year old Mark Fisher of Corrigan, which is south of Lufkin, was arrested for DWI, possession of pills containing ecstasy and codeine, possession of marijuana, unlawful carrying of a pistol, spitting at one of the officers, resisting arrest, and kicking a patrol door hard enough to cause an estimated $700 dollars damage.

Fisher remained in the Brazos County jail Tuesday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $28,500 dollars.
