Motorists in the area of George Bush Drive and Coke Street the morning of Monday, November 10th might have seen cars parked on George Bush Drive and two men fighting.
College Station police arrest reports say both men were bloody and battered but there was no indication that either sought medical treatment.
The arrest reports say both men were driving on the A&M campus when the man who was arrested yelled at the other driver for littering. The second man denied littering, telling police that he spit out of his window.
After the second man then stopped outside a campus building to make a delivery, the man who accused him of littering got out of his car and “keyed” the doors of the victim’s car.
The suspect was still in the area when he saw the victim return to his car. That led to a vehicle pursuit that stopped at Bush and Coke. The suspect got out of his car and started punching the victim while he was still seated in his car.
21 year old Jesse Castro of College Station is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $8,000 dollars on misdemeanor charges of assault causing bodily injury and criminal assault for scratching the victim’s car.
The other driver was ticketed for disorderly conduct by language for his role in the incident.
