There is a change to the criminal charges facing a Bryan woman who was arrested by College Station police last Friday.
Online jail records show 40 year old Amanda Bonner is no longer accused of promoting prostitution.
Instead, Bonner is charged with retaliation for threatening to kill a roommate and her family if the roommate did not engage in numerous acts of prostitution.
The switch in charges did not change the $157,000 dollars in bonds that keeps Bonner in jail for the 30th time in 23 years.
Online court records show Bonner is awaiting trial on a misdemeanor charge of possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia from December 2022 and driving with an invalid license with prior convictions from August of 2022.
