College Station Police making a routine traffic stop Friday morning resulted in a significant drug bust.
Lt. Chuck Fleeger says the patrol officer became suspicious after the driver of a SUV stopped at Fitch and Castle Rock was acting as if he was trying to conceal something.
That led to the discovery of nearly four pounds of high quality marijuana, which has a street value of $13,000 dollars.
Officers also seized $2,000 dollars in cash.
24 year old Wesley Smirak of Brazoria was arrested for felony possession of marijuana.
