On February 1 it will no longer be legal to smoke in any bar, restaurant or workplace in College Station.

Phillip Robert Brenson is the general counsel for Fast Eddies Billiards and Bar, which has 17 locations in Texas.

Brenson says other Fast Eddies throughout the state have seen a 15 to 20 percent drop in business after similar bans have passed, and College Station will be no different.

The new ordinance will require all smoking to take place outside, at least 10 feet from an entryway.
