A College Station man goes to jail for the 13th time in four years on a public intoxication charge.
According to the Bryan police arrest report, an officer responded to Sul Ross Park on Tuesday evening around 7 p.m. for a man that was passed out near a park bench.
After waking the man up, the officer determined 50 year-old Brent Himel was intoxicated due to his slurred speech, unstable movements and glassy eyes.
Himel was arrested for active warrants and charged with public intoxication with three prior convictions.
