June’s meeting of the College Station ISD school board included a staffing update for the upcoming school year.

Superintendent Tim Harkrider said there was “significant less openings this year which is exciting” and “most campuses are staffed up and ready to go for next year already.”

Harkrider said in a two week period ending last Tuesday (June 17), they filled 51 of 78 professional openings. And as of last Tuesday, CSISD had 31 vacancies for paraprofessional positions, compared with 128 a year ago.
