College Station Family Fundraiser for Bastrop Fire Victims

The Brazos County Red Cross office received a special contribution Wednesday for fire victims in Bastrop County.

$300 dollars was raised by the four children of a College Station family last month. Nine year old Sierra Anderson, who goes to College Hills Elementary School, says it was a joint project with their parents.

The mother, Tricia Anderson, says the girls along with their two brothers, 12 year old Brandon and one year old Wyatt, also participated.

Mrs. Anderson said College Station Fire Chief R.B. Alley assisted the family in selecting the Red Cross to receive the money.
