College Station Dedicates New City Hall and Seal

The City of College Station dedicated its new city hall on Tuesday.

College Station Mayor Karl Mooney used a train analogy to describe what the city is doing with the creation of the new city hall and the leadership of city staff.

“Be like a train. Concentrate on your road. Stay on track. And go to a destination of health, safety and prosperity,” says Mooney.

Mooney says College Station is laying the course through many, wonderful decades.

“Driving the train doesn’t set its course, the real job is laying the track,” says Mooney.

The new city hall was not the only thing unveiled during the dedication.

City Manager Bryan Woods pointed out a new seal engraved above the building’s front doors.

“It pays tribute to the Bush 4141 Locomotive and our 41st President, Texas A&M University, Union Pacific, and our armed forces. These elements say everything about College Station,” says Woods.
