The day after Mann’s comments to WTAW News, the code enforcement office received a request from CSFD to look into a possible violation of a city ordinance requiring the property owner to keep the site of the former doughnut business clear of accumulated trash and rubbish.
Quoting the ordinance, provided to WTAW News by a city of College Station spokesman:
Sec. 30-22. – Accumulation of trash, carrion, and filth prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person who owns or occupies any house, building, establishment, lot, or yard in the City to permit or allow any trash, rubbish, carrion, filth, or other impure or unwholesome matter to accumulate or remain thereon or therein.
