ROCKDALE — The top-ranked College Station baseball team banged out 20 hits in a 17-3 victory over Rockdale in five innings Tuesday in District 18-3A action.
College Station junior catcher Baylor Rowlett went 4 for 4 with a home run, double and five RBIs. Leadoff man Walker Davis went 4 for 5 with a double and triple. Jake Georgiades and Matthew Bennett had two hits apiece.
Sophomore left-hander Kyle Richardson (3-0) pitched all five innings for College Station (16-4-1, 3-0), allowing five hits and striking out eight. Richardson also collected three hits, including a double.
College Station will host Taylor at 7 p.m. Friday.
