College Football Coaching Carousel Heats up on “Black Sunday”

The college football landscape underwent a massive shake-up Sunday, as Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley announced he would be leaving to take the same position at USC.

Details of Riley’s new contract have yet to be disclosed.

The 38-year-old took over the Sooners in 2017 and led them to a 55-10 overall record and four Top 10 finishes.

Elsewhere, Florida has hired Billy Napier to be the Gators next head man.

Napier has spent the last four seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette, where he coached the Ragin’ Cajuns to a 39-12 mark, including an 11-1 record this year.
