A city of Bryan employee has been suspended from driving city vehicles.

That’s after a train struck a trailer attached to a city truck and trailer last Friday (November 7) south of the downtown area at Finfeather and Dodge.

A city spokeswoman says no one was injured and the driver received a ticket.

The city statement also noted city police requires all employees to complete a defensive driving course within 90 days of being hired and every three years after that.
