College Station police responding to citizen’s complaints of loud music leads to the arrest of three members of Texas A&M’s women’s basketball team.

CSPD arrest reports say multiple calls began Wednesday (March 28) during the midnight hour of loud music coming out of a car in an apartment parking lot.

That was followed by more calls reporting people inside in the car were smoking marijuana.

Arrest reports say 8.8 grams of marijuana and a vape pen containing THC were seized.

The driver of the car, 22 year old starting guard Kayla “Kay Kay” Green, was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Also arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana were teammates Maliyah Johnson, a 21 year old reserve forward, and 21 year old reserve guard Kyndall Hunter.

All three are out of jail after posting bond, which was set at $7,000 dollars for Green and $2,000 dollars each for Johnson and Hunter.
