On August 4, 2010 at about 7:10 a.m. a woman walking in the area of Park Place and Pershing streets was alarmed by two juvenile males that appeared to be watching her.
Moments later she saw two more male juvenile subjects running away from the area carrying something. The woman quickly reported the suspicious activity and provided police with a description of the subjects and the direction they were travelling.
Moments after receiving the call, Officers located two subjects matching the given description near the intersection of Welsh and Thompson streets. The Officers contacted the two males and eventually determined that they were in possession of property belonging to the residents of 906 Park Place near where they were first observed.
More officers were dispatched to 906 Park Place where they discovered that there had been forced entry. The home owner was contacted and he confirmed that the property in question had been removed from his residence without consent. The residents were not at home when the break in occurred.
The two juveniles were arrested and transported to JDC.
