The owners of a landmark Bryan restaurant that closed following a fire two years ago will start rebuilding next Monday.
A news release from Chicken Oil Company says this week has been spent removing the kitchen and back of house areas that were destroyed in April of 2022.
The project keeps the seating arrangements on each level and the fireplace at the restaurant that opened in 1977.
The company that owns Chicken Oil also owns the Dixie Chicken in College Station’s Northgate district, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary next month.
