The city of College Station’s holiday tourism campaign unofficially includes a candy cane decorated crane.

Communications director Jay Socol says the decorated crane is at the construction site of the city’s new water tower along the freeway and south of Baylor Scott & White hospital.

Construction began in October, and weather permitting will be completed in the spring of 2022, on the more than $6 million dollar water tower.
