Bultman Joins Adams, Larson on Team USA

INDIANAPOLIS — Texas A&M head women’s swim coach Steve Bultman was named an assistant coach on Team USA that will compete at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain, USA Swimming announced on Saturday.Bultman joins Aggie juniors Cammile Adams and Breeja Larson, who earned spots on Team USA with strong performances at the Phillips 66 National Championships and World Championships Trials. Adams, from Cypress, Texas, was victorious in the 200-meter butterfly, while Larson, from Mesa, Ariz., won the 100- and 200-meter breaststrokes and was second in the 50 breast.

The Team USA coaching staff will consist of Dave Salo (head coach) with Bultman, Teri McKeever and Todd Schmitz as assistant coaches. Bultman also served on the Team USA staff at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Bultman previously coached at the World Championships on Estonia’s staff with former A&M swimmer Triin Aljand.
