After 26 years, a locally owned Bryan restaurant is closing.

Memories of Burger House were shared Wednesday morning (May 27) on WTAW’s The Infomaniacs.

The newest Infomaniac, Tucker Young, shared a recent visit when he went to order the specialty Korean beef sandwich called a bulgogi and he had to wait one hour in line.

Young also quoted a recent article in the Houston Chronicle written by Consolidated High School and Texas A&M graduate Gwen Howerton. Her article brought up the restaurant’s slogan “the best food for the best people” then wrote “where will the best people eat now?”

While Saturday (May 30) is their last day, the Burger House BCS Facebook page has a list of menu items that are not available…including the bulgogi sandwich.

The Infomaniacs Scott DeLucia recalled before Burger House, the building on South College was a Shipley’s Do-Nuts before they moved to their current location at Villa Maria and Cavitt.
