A Bryan woman has started spending a year of weekends in the Brazos County jail. That’s part of the punishment for a third drunk driving conviction. 54 year old Victoria Blue pleaded guilty last week to a DWI that took place a year and a half ago. That was followed by a contested sentencing hearing. Prosecutors sought prison time, which could have been as much as ten years. Blue was given ten years probation, with conditions that include serving one hundred days in jail on the weekend.

In another criminal case from Brazos County district court, a Bryan man has entered a plea agreement with prosecutors involving an armed robbery from almost two years ago and two burglaries that took place in 2009. 23 year old Justin Wallace was sentenced to eight years for all three crimes. That includes the holdup of three people in a College Station apartment in April 2014 where $500 dollars and a cell phone were taken.
