The Bryan school board has heard from a group who wants the district to reopen the old Carver school.
The elementary building, built in 1964, was used last year as an early childhood center that is now part of the nearby Carver-Kemp campus.
Trustees President Maritza Hoffman says neighborhood residents are concerned about the building’s future.
Hoffman says trustees directed staff to develop options for the building.
