A Bryan ISD middle school student is arrested for making a threat involving a gun. A Bryan police spokesman says the student did not have access to a gun and no one was harmed. A BPD resource officer responded Wednesday (May 14) during the noon hour to a classroom at Stephen F. Austin middle school where the student was removed and taken to the juvenile detention center.

A disturbance at Rudder High School on Monday (May 12) resulted in the arrest of one student. A Bryan police spokesman says a school resource officer responding to a disturbance arrived to find two students had been separated. One of the students, who was described as “the aggressive party”, was taken to the juvenile detention center. The other student did not require medical attention for what the BPD spokesman said was visible injuries. What led to the disturbance was not disclosed.
