Bryan Police Respond to Car Crash Inside a Restaurant & Aggravated Assault

On November 3, 2015 at 2:20 p.m. Officers responded to 1400 block of Hoppess St in Bryan for an aggravated assault that had just occurred. Preliminary investigation indicates a disturbance with a knife occurred at this residence. The resident, a 49 year old male, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries consisting of cuts. The suspect fled the scene on foot and is described as a white male, approximately 45-55 years of age, and wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans. On November 3, 2015 at 12:40 p.m. Officers responded to La Riviera Restaurant and Bakery, located at 3700 S. Texas Ave, for a major accident. An 81 year old female of Bryan driving a gold Lexus was parking her vehicle when she accelerated driving into the business. The driver and two customers were transported to St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries. All were treated and released. A fourth person, another customer, was treated at the scene.
