A crash involving three vehicles on Rudder Freeway in Bryan Sunday night (March 29) resulted in Bryan police arresting the driver and a passenger in the car that officers believe caused the wreck.
BPD arrest reports say a Mustang which was racing made an unsafe lane change and struck a minivan and a SUV.
The SUV left the freeway and rolled to the frontage road.
An undisclosed number of people in the SUV and the minivan were treated at the scene by Bryan firefighters for undisclosed injuries.
The driver of the Mustang, 20 year old Jefforey Arellano of Bryan, was arrested for reckless driving. He is out of jail after posting a $3,000 dollar bond.
A passenger in the Mustang, 21 year old Joseph Andrew Gonzalez of Bryan, was arrested for giving false information to officers that he was in another vehicle and Arellano was not driving the Mustang. Gonzalez is out of jail after posting a $3,000 dollar bond.
