A Bryan Woman Tells Police A Man She Had Just Started Dating Was Shot And Killed By Her Ex-Boyfriend

A Bryan woman tells police a man she had just started dating was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend in her apartment Sunday morning.

According to BPD arrest reports, the woman told officers the night before the shooting, her ex kept contacting her, wanting to come over to her apartment and she kept declining the requests.

On Mother’s Day morning, the woman was awakened by someone beating on her door. She opened the door, told her ex he could not enter, then he forced his way inside.

She said the ex ran up the stairs and said something to the other man. The woman then heard gunfire, then saw her ex point a gun at her.

The ex took her car keys and drove away in her car, which was found by police near his home.

The ex, 26 year old O’Donald Hill Jr., turned himself in Monday night and is jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $500,000 dollars.

Hill was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary with the intent to commit another felony, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Bryan police announce the man wanted in a Sunday morning shooting death is in jail.

According to BPD social media, 26 year old O’Donald Hill Jr. turned himself in Monday night and was booked on five charges.

Hill is held on bonds totaling $500,000 dollars on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit another felony, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

28 year old Shun Martin of Bryan was shot and killed inside an apartment on College Main between Adams and Jefferson.

BPD’s social media did not disclose the circumstances that led to Martin’s death.

BPD reports the shooting was not random, but is not providing information about the relationship between Martin and Hill.

Anyone who sees Hill is asked to contact 9-1-1 immediately and to not attempt to contact or detain him.

The tweet states anyone who sees Hill to contact 9-1-1 immediately and to not attempt to contact or detain him.

Bryan police report gunfire Sunday morning north of the Northgate district killed one man.

Officers responded just before 6:30 a.m. to the 4300 block of College Main, which is between Jefferson and Adams.

According to a BPD tweet, a suspect has been identified but no arrest has been made.

No names have been released. And the tweet did not indicate if investigators know what led to the shooting.
