Bryan police is investigating a three vehicle collision that killed one driver and left a second driver hospitalized in critical condition.
This happened Thursday afternoon (October 2) on Highway 30 near Hardy Weedon Road.
An eastbound pickup truck struck the rear of a SUV, sending the truck into the oncoming lanes where it collided with a second SUV.
The driver of the truck who was killed was identified as 68 year old David Bert Vanadore of Robertson County.
The driver of the second SUV was taken to the hospital. The driver of the first SUV was not injured.

On October 2nd, 2025 at 2:17 p.m., the Bryan Police Department responded to a major crash located near the intersection of SH 30 and Hardy Weedon Road.
Preliminary investigation determined a 2005 F-150 was eastbound in the 10700 block of SH 30 when it struck the rear of a 2024 Nissan Armada.
The F-150 continued to travel eastbound losing control and traveling into the westbound lanes of SH 30 where it collided with a 2014 Infiniti SUV.
The driver of the F-150 was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Infiniti was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Occupants of the Armada were not injured.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
